Zazzy teams up with The Noun Project for Project Cufflinks.
Zazzy announced today that they are integrating the Noun Project’s collection of over 65,000+ icons to offer unprecedented customization options to their newest jewelry editor, Project Cufflinks.
Project Cufflinks is a cutting-edge customizing editor that allows users choose from The Noun Project’s library of symbols to create a set of unique cufflinks which are designed, 3D printed and delivered by jewelry startup Zazzy.
This is Amsterdam-based Zazzy’s first design link-up and offers a clear insight into brand’s design-focussed goals. “We wanted to create really cool cufflinks that anyone could enjoy creating and tapping the Noun Project’s library felt like a natural move for us,” said Gert-Jan Spriensma, CEO of Zazzy. “They aim to simplify communication, we aim to simplify creativity and we both do this through user-generated design, ideas and input. The cufflinks, which are our first foray into jewelry specifically for men, are a great way of making use of The Noun Project’s fun and original designs.”
“We are very impressed with the creativity behind these unique pieces of jewelry, and love seeing our creator’s iconic interpretations live in 3-D,” said Edward Boatman, co-founder of the Noun Project.
Project Cufflinks, which goes live today (1st Oct.), allows customers to design their own cufflinks by choosing an icon from The Noun Project’s extensive library of fun and expressive symbols. Retailing at €50, a percentage of the sale goes to the symbols’ designer.
